The VATTER Training Center is a certified provider of vocational training. Founded in 1976, the company has five locations in Baden-Württemberg. The offer ranges from further training, retraining and IT courses to language courses.
As part of the construction of the new building at the Vatter site in Villingen-Schwenningen, Elektro Schuler from Balingen won the tender from general contractor FBW Fertigbau Wochner for the implementation of the electrical installation. The primary requirement: In order to reduce energy consumption, the lighting control in the functional rooms of the building and in the outdoor area was to be controlled via presence detectors and motion detectors.

LUXA 103 presence detectors offer maximum flexibility
Operations manager German Kammerer from Elektro Schuler opted for LUXA 103 presence detectors from Theben. "The presence detectors are used on three floors in corridors, stairwells, toilets, technical rooms and recreation rooms. One of the reasons we opted for LUXA 103 was because it offers flush-mounted and surface-mounted variants. This allowed us to install one product in all installation situations - even outside in the entrance area thanks to protection class IP54," explains German Kammerer.
Easily adjustable and affordable
But the LUXA 103 not only impresses with its versatility. Other plus points are its ease of adjustment and cost. "Of course, you can set the LUXA 103 directly on the device. But we used the app with remote control and were done really quickly," says German Kammerer. "What's more, the price-performance ratio is really very good. My conclusion: Inexpensive, easy to adjust, works perfectly. Perfect again!"
LED spotlights with motion detectors around the building
In addition to LUXA 103 presence detectors, theLeda D LED spotlights with motion detectors are also used outdoors. The visually attractive devices with an aluminum housing and light output to the front ensure motion-dependent lighting control around the building.
