Considering the current high energy costs and scarce resources, energy-saving technologies are becoming increasingly important at home. A lot can be achieved with little effort. Here are a few examples of how clever energy saving can be implemented simply, reliably and highly efficiently in homes as well as in commercial environments:
Motion detectors and presence detectors (PIR) for indoors and outdoors only switch the light on when someone is present and switch it off again after a defined time delay. This minimises power consumption. Did you forget to switch off the light? The motion detector will take care of it. By the way, presence detectors offer even more subtle detection of even the smallest movements. Versions from 230 V to KNX ensure a wide range of applications in building automation.
The LUXA 103 device family for efficient lighting and HVAC control indoors and outdoors includes presence detectors with a round detection area for individual and open-plan offices, meeting and storage rooms, basements and toilets, as well as special corridor presence detectors with a rectangular detection area.
theLuxa 180 S motion detectors for outdoors reliably provide light at the front door, in the garden or on the driveway – and only when it is needed.
theMura motion and presence detectors for indoors are perfect for energy-efficient lighting control, e.g. in individual offices, living spaces, corridors, stairways, cellars and toilets.
Digital clock thermostats for surface and flush mounting allow time-dependent monitoring and control of the room temperature of on/off heaters and electric heating as well as zone and single room control. For example, the heating can be regulated to normal temperature during office hours and lowered after office hours. The same applies, for example, to houses or flats: If the room temperature is lowered when you are absent or at night, you save up to 6% energy per degree of reduction. Also, a multiple temperature selection, e.g. in the bathroom, makes sense: with a temperature reduction at night to 17 °C, a daytime temperature of 20 °C and an increase to 24 °C at bathing times, not only can heating energy be saved, but living comfort can also be increased.
The RAMSES 812 BLE is a digital clock thermostat for energy-saving room temperature regulation, e.g. in single-family houses and flats.
The RAMSES 814 BLE UP is a digital clock thermostat for energy-saving room temperature regulation, e.g. in houses and flats.
Analogue and digital time switches for a wall socket or the control cabinet allow connected loads to be switched on and off time-controlled. From coffee makers and aquarium lighting to WiFi and garden watering at home, street and shop window lighting, school bells, ventilation systems and pumps. Daily and weekly programs, which on some devices can also be set via app, simplify use. Switching high LED loads of up to 600 W is also possible.
The TR 610 top3 is a digital 1-channel time switch with weekly program for DIN-rail mounting (2 TE).
The digital 1-channel plug-in timer theben-eltimo is available in versions with a weekly program or with a weekly and astro program.
The mechanical 1-channel plug-in theben-timer 26 safety-plus with increased contact protection is the further development of the classic that has been sold more than 33 million times.
