App-solute programming ease: With the new theSenda Plug app for presence and motion detectors
(Haigerloch March 2018) With theSenda Plug, Theben presents a user-friendly app for easy programming of indoor and outdoor detectors. Combined with the new theSenda B remote control, the parameters on all Theben presence and motion detectors for indoor and outdoor applications can be set and operated quickly, easily and safely.
theSenda Plug can be used on iOS and Android smartphones and is available as a free download from the relevant app stores. All presence and motion detectors from Theben and ThebenHTS come pre-installed. New and revised detector types are updated automatically, ensuring that you always have the latest versions.
Flexible detector search and configuration
The automatic search takes the installer directly to the corresponding detector. Alternatively, the filter function can be used. What's more, it is possible to search for detectors based on stored parameter sets. All detectors can be programmed with just a few clicks via the intuitive user interface. Comprehensive graphic and text-based help functions as well as animations provide assistance with configuration. Particularly in the case of detectors with an especially large range of functions, such as the DALI presence detectors, theSenda Plug makes configuration much easier and faster.
Parameter sets can be saved specifically according to the customer and be filed in parameter libraries. This makes them easier to reuse, for example in different buildings. The parameter sets can also be established externally and imported or exported, for example via e-mail.
Perfectly combined with theSenda B remote control
While the detectors are being configured via the theSenda Plug app, the programmed data is transmitted to the respective detector via the theSenda B remote control and infrared. To do this, the parameter sets first have to be sent to theSenda B via Bluetooth – simply at the touch of a button. The highlight is the fact that theSenda B offers a built-in lux meter which can be used to calibrate the light measurement simply and conveniently. The measured lux values are then transmitted back to theSenda Plug via Bluetooth. The supplied wall and table mount ensures that the remote control is always to hand.
